The Elders serve with Serge on their Member Care Team, which Meredith helps lead.  Sending churches value experienced workers and counsellors like the Elders who provide biblical counsel and encouragement for those who are sent.  

PRAYER REQUESTS

• For Meredith to listen well to those on the field -- those on his member care list (about 60 people) -- and the six people he supervises.  He touches base with these people from every two weeks to every three months.
• For Sandy as she meets with several overseas women for spiritual direction
• For Meredith to have wisdom for the various difficult situations that come up on the field, such as
  • declining health or sudden death of a parent in the US while the member is on the field
  • relational difficulties on teams, working toward reconciliation
  • anxiety and discouragement
  • planning for crisis situations, such as a family member being taken into custody
