Peninsula Community Chapel (PCC) is a church that is broadly evangelical with an emphasis on the enjoyment and beauty of God. It has an informal, contemporary atmosphere that is intellectually and artistically challenging, PCC is committed to social justice and service and is family-affirming. We are globally aware and engaged.
Global involvement in ministry is a vital part of who we are as a local church. Global ministry means joining with God in the incredible work He is doing in the world around us. Our desire to serve is born from the belief that God is so wonderful He should be worshiped by people from all over the world. Because we believe so deeply in God calling us to global ministry, especially in the unreached areas of the world, we strive to educate, motivate and equip our congregation to play a part in what God is doing around the world. PCC currently has over 20 workers, who came out of PCC, spread across the globe, as well as partnerships with churches in Nairobi, Kenya, & Miyota, Japan. In addition, we regularly send 3-4 short term teams to various parts of the world to support our long term workers, get a glimpse of what it's like, and prayerfully consider long term ministry themselves.
