We are long-term global workers in Nairobi, Kenya with a gifting and calling to equip, refresh and connect indigenous, East African, Christian workers and their families through hospitality, leadership training and pastoral care so that they may increase in capacity to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Rebecca is passionate about hospitality and worker care and has formal training in pastoral care. She is refreshed by spending time outdoors with God, enjoying nature, and enjoys serving through discipleship and prayer with other women. She has creative flair, loves to cook, and is talented in creating welcoming and festive events through her organizational skills, sense of style, and attention to detail.
Rebecca's husband is passionate about leadership development and connecting organizations and people to enable the further spread of the gospel. He has a servant heart and a generous spirit. He is a visionary who lives by Eph. 3:20, trusting God to do more than we can ask or imagine through the power of His Spirit. In his free time he thoroughly likes DIY repairs and building things.
Our daughters Annabel, Siddalee and Callulah love playing and reading, and are flourishing and enjoying Kenya. It has been an answer to prayer to see their curiosity and love for Kenya grow in such a short time. All three attend school and are very active and nature-loving girls. They are doing wonderfully in school and connect well with local and international children. They all enjoy singing, music, crafts, and swimming, and have already shown the gift of hospitality as they welcome children of all ages joyfully into our home.
We are Jesus-loving, fun-loving, and people-loving, and although each of us in our family is uniquely made with different gifts, we feel most connected as a family, and to God’s purpose for us, when we are engaged in hospitality and our home is filled with others.
