Using his mechanical skills, Matt hopes to help maintain aircraft overseas that support gospel-centered ministry by transporting national pastors, delivering community-development supplies, and providing life-saving medical evacuation flights to isolated communities. Matt was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, and came to faith in Jesus at a young age through the faithful example of his parents. He graduated from Liberty University’s aviation maintenance program in 2020, where he first sensed God’s call to missions aviation. Following graduation, Matt worked for four years as an avionics technician at a regional airport, gaining hands-on experience maintaining small aircraft. In recent years, God has continued to lead Matt toward full-time missions. As he reflects, “This process has been difficult, full of stops and detours, but God has used each step to equip me for His work.” Along the way, Matt has also served part time in middle school youth ministry at his church, combining his passion for evangelism, teaching, and sports. Matt feels called to live cross-culturally among unreached people groups and trusts God to use his skills and passion to further His kingdom. Please prayerfully consider partnering with Matt through prayer and/or financial support. |
